The National Bike Register is a database used by law enforcement to help identify and recover stolen bikes.
The National Bike Register consists of a database in which, prospective Bike purchasers are able to check whether bikes have been reported stolen. NBR’s database is recognised and available to law enforcement officers and alerts both the authorities and greater cycling industry of bikes which are reported stolen Bikes.
It communicates features to identity the stolen bike with the use of social media and industry networks and provides information to both insurers and the police in every state and teriorty to aid in the identification and recovery of the stolen property.
